Palestinian women march in Gaza refugee camp to demand justice for Comrade Omar Nayef Zayed

Women in Maghazi refugee camp in the Gaza Strip marched on March 4 to condemn the assassination of Comrade Omar Nayef Zayed in the Palestinian embassy in Bulgaria.

The women’s march, accompanied by children, marched from Maghazi roundabout through the streets of the camp, carrying Palestinian flags and PFLP banners, denouncing the crime and demanding accountability for all involved. They carried a symbolic coffin and flowers in an expression of appreciation for the legacy of struggle of the martyred comrade.

Comrade Nahla al-Akhras spoke on behalf of the Front, saluting the martyr and his family and pledging to uphold his path of struggle, emphasizing that the Front will remain alert, and accusing the Zionist entity, the Bulgarian authorities and the Palestinian Authority for responsibility in the crime.

Comrade Hiba Abdul Karim spoke, emphasizing that this incident has revealed irresponsible and unacceptable practices in the Palestinian embassies that require accountability.
