Dozens gathered on the Falls Road on Sunday (19th October) to stand in solidarity with our Palestinian comrades in the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.
The éirígí organised picket was in response to a call from the PFLP for broad support over several ‘days of action’ to demand the release of Palestinian prisoners, in particular ‘Ahmad Sa’adat’ – General Secretary of the PFLP and ‘Georges Ibrahim Abdallah’ – Lebanese militant and ex-member of PFLP-EO. Both men have now been held for decades in prisons in Israel and France respectively.
