The Progressive Student Action Front at universities in the West Bank organized a demonstration and march at Manara Square in Ramallah on October 21, in protest of the repression directed against Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa and in support of Palestinian prisoners, calling for the freedom of Comrade Ahmad Sa’adat and all prisoners in the occupation jails. The march proceeded to the Ofer prison and military base, where the student protesters confronted armed occupation troops:
