The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine saluted the fallen leader and fighter, Comrade Osama Mahmoud Abbas Abu Omreen on October 10; he was targeted by a Zionist drone for assassination in the recent aggression against the Gaza Strip, killed when the occupation forces shot a missile into his car.
The memorial was organized by the Muin al-Masri Organization of the PFLP, whose name commemorates a comrade and leader killed in the course of struggle for Palestinian liberation. Comrade Zakaria Abu Obeid opened the event, saluting the line of martyrs who have led the Front and the Palestinian struggle on the road of liberation. He also saluted the Palestinian prisoners behind occupation bars, led by PFLP General Secretary Ahmad Sa’adat, who is currently struggling against a ban on family visits imposed on him by the occupation prison authorities.
