The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine mourned the great national fighter, Comrade Suhail Salibi (Abu al-Naji), a member of the Political Bureau of the Abnaa al-Balad Movement, on Wednesday. He passed away yesterday, Tuesday, at the age of sixty.

In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Front said, "The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, on behalf of its Secretary-General, Comrade Ahmad Saadat, his deputy, Comrade Jamil Mazhar, the members of the Political Bureau and the Central Committee, and all its cadres and comrades in the homeland and diaspora, extends its deepest condolences and most sincere sympathy to the comrades in the Abnaa al-Balad Movement, to the masses of our Palestinian people in the occupied territories, to the town of Majd al-Krum, and to the honorable Salibi family, on the passing of the great national fighter, Comrade Suhail Salibi (Abu al-Naji), a member of the Political Bureau of the Abnaa al-Balad Movement, who passed away yesterday, Tuesday, at the age of sixty, after a long struggle with illness."

She added, "Comrade Abu al-Naji, a native of Majd al-Krum, was a model of a sincere and dedicated national fighter dedicated to his cause and people. He carried the burden of Palestine from his early youth and joined the ranks of the national movement, defending its identity and belonging, believing in the unity of the people, land, and destiny."

She stated, "Comrade Suhail was known among his comrades for his steadfastness in his principles, his firm national stances, and his rejection of any form of compromise or deviation from the constants. He was always at the forefront of every national and popular movement, embodying the spirit of commitment and struggle, and believing that words, stances, and daily action are tools of resistance no less honorable than the rifle."

She emphasized, "Comrade Abu al-Naji never hesitated to fulfill his national duty. He was present at all solidarity events and activities, and he actively contributed to relief and popular support campaigns for our people in the Gaza Strip, embodying his deep belonging to all of Palestine, from its sea to its river."

The Front considered that "with his passing, the national arena and the occupied territories lose a steadfast fighter and a sincere leader who remained committed to revolutionary principles and values until the last moment of his life. Comrade Suhail set a model of loyalty, belonging, and national giving, and his name will remain engraved in the memory of the Palestinian national movement and in the conscience of all who knew him and accompanied him on the path of struggle."

The Front stated, "As we bid farewell to this dear comrade, we pledge to our people and our comrades in the Sons of the Country Movement that we will remain loyal to his approach and path, and that we will continue on the same path he followed: the path of resistance, unity, and steadfastness in adhering to the national constants until liberation, return, and the establishment of a Palestinian state on all Palestinian soil."

The Front concluded its statement by saying, "Sleep soundly, Abu al-Naji, for your comrades and your people will remain faithful until the dream of freedom, independence, and justice is realized for our Palestinian people."
