POPULAR FRONT MOURNS NATIONAL FIGHTER UMM NIDAL ABU AKAR
[Fri, 31 Oct 2025 16:37:12 +0300]
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine mourned on Friday the national fighter Umm Nidal Abu Akar, the olive tree of Al-Dheisha camp and an icon of Palestinian patience and resilience, who passed away at dawn.
In a eulogy statement... it said: "The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, in the name of its General Secretary Comrade Leader Ahmad Sa'adat, his deputy Comrade Leader Jamil Mizher, members of the Political Bureau, Central Committee, and the Prisons Branch leadership, mourns the steadfast, persevering comrade fighter Malaka Abu Akar 'Umm Nidal,' mother of the heroic martyr Mohammad Abu Akar who watered the land of the Stone Intifada with his blood, and mother of the dean of administrative detainees Comrade Leader Nidal Abu Akar, who passed away at dawn on Friday in Al-Dheisha camp in Bethlehem, after a lifetime filled with giving, loyalty, and beautiful patience, and a long journey of struggle and resistance in the face of the enemy."
The Front added: "The late fighter Umm Nidal was an exceptional woman; she was not ordinary in her presence or her giving. Rather, she was a school of steadfastness and a living legend who resisted with awareness, will, and conviction. She forged from her pain and the absence of her loved ones an unyielding determination, and from her patience, a flame that illuminated the paths of the resistors. She was truly a heart pulsating with loyalty to the cause of her people."
It continued: "The deceased embodied the highest meanings of giving and sacrifice. She offered her sons as martyrs, prisoners, and wounded in the battle of dignity and freedom. She was a deeply rooted olive tree in the camp's soil, never tiring or weakening. She carried people's concerns in her heart, embraced prisoners and their mothers, and remained always a guardian of the pledge of return and a living memory narrating to generations the story of the ongoing Palestinian struggle."
It pointed out that "before her passing, she wrote with her pain and patience one of the most beautiful epics of determination when she met her imprisoned son Nidal Abu Akar after more than fifteen years of unjust administrative detention, concluding her journey of giving with a moment of reunion that encapsulates the pain of the years, the dignity of resilience, and the warmth of motherhood that remained undefeated despite all loss and pain."
The Front affirmed that "the passing of the fighter Umm Nidal represents a great loss for the entire Palestinian people, and for the captive movement in particular. She was a beacon for mothers, a support for prisoners, and a cry of truth in the face of injustice and occupation. She was a symbol of the Palestinian woman who carried the concern of the homeland in her heart and the flame of resistance in her hands. Her comrades and the people loved her, but her love for them was deeper and more sublime, because it was the love of those who promise and are promised that the path - no matter how long - will not lead the walkers astray."
It concluded the eulogy statement by saying: "As the Popular Front bids farewell to this great fighter, it extends the warmest condolences and sympathy to Comrade Fighter Leader Nidal Abu Akar, to the struggling Abu Akar family, to the people of Al-Dheisha camp, and to all who knew her and shared her path of struggle. Her biography will remain immortal in the collective memory of our people, a beacon illuminating the path of the free until victory, freedom, and return are achieved, and a democratic, independent Palestinian state is established on the entire national soil with Jerusalem as its capital."

PFLP MOURNS MARTYR FIGHTER, IDHA MUHAMMAD AL-SABA'UIN "GUEVARA"
2025/01/30 / abolitionmedia
The Popular Front mourns its fellow fighter, Idha Muhammad al-Saba’in (Guevara), who was martyred during the battles to confront the Zionist aggression in southern Lebanon.
With great pride and honor, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine mourns its fellow fighter, Idha Muhammad al-Saba’in (Guevara), who was martyred while confronting the Zionist aggression in steadfast southern Lebanon.
The martyred comrade was born in 1996 in Nahr al-Bared camp, where he was raised on the principles of struggle and revolution. His roots go back to the Arabs of al-Zubaid in occupied Palestine.
He joined the ranks of the Front and its fighting wing at a young age, believing in armed struggle as a path to liberation and return.
Comrade Guevara responded to the call of Gaza and the resistance, and advanced to the field alongside his comrades in the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance, armed with his firm belief in the struggle and his faith that the battle is one and the destiny is shared, embodying with his courage the model of the revolutionary front fighter who does not retreat, and the stubborn refugee resistance fighter who offers his blood for the sake of Palestine and every Arab land exposed to aggression.
The Popular Front, as it bids farewell to this heroic comrade, extends its deepest condolences to his comrades, his family, the steadfast people of Nahr al-Bared camp, and the Palestinian people in Lebanon and the diaspora, affirming that the blood of the martyrs will remain a beacon illuminating the path of liberation and return, and that the resistance will continue until the occupation is expelled from every inch of our land.
Glory and immortality to the martyr hero Idaa and to all the martyrs, and we will certainly be victorious.

Red Salute to Comrade Abu Ahmed Fouad (Major General Daoud Maragha) – PFLP
The party said in an obituary statement: “Despite his suffering from illness in recent months, Comrade Abu Ahmed Fouad remained present in his heart and mind, following the developments of the Palestinian struggle, preoccupied with following the destructive Zionist war on the Gaza Strip. He believed in the inevitability of the victory of the resistance and saw in the determination of Gaza, its people and fighters, and the bravery of its resistance, evidence of the ability of the new Palestinian generation to create new equations that put the occupation in an existential predicament.”
The Party pledged to the masses of the heroic Palestine people, the free people of our nation and the world, our late comrade, and the blood of our martyrs and heroes across the battlefields to remain loyal to those who paved the path of freedom with their blood.

MOUSA QOUS 1962-2025
Mousa Qous was a leader of the small but storied Afro-Palestinian community in Jerusalem’s Old City, representing it in international anti-racism forums and empowering its beleaguered youth. A journalist, skilled translator, and former prisoner, he decoded Palestinian politics for innumerable outsiders, applying a deeply principled critique and gentle humor in his approach...
On October 21, 1991, Qous was arrested again while working as a reporter with the English-language weekly al-Fajr, published in Jerusalem and Washington, DC, as a companion to the Arabic newspaper of the same name, which was an unofficial voice of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO).20 A month later, he was sentenced by the Lod Military Court on November 19, 1991, to four years in prison for membership in the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), for instructing others to write graffiti and organizing food distributions.21 His case was taken up by the Committee to Protect Journalists.22
“He was a man who did not live for himself, but for the greater cause,” said a close acquaintance. “He stressed that in light of an unjust reality that has no stability, we cannot be held hostage by delusions; it is our duty as individuals to give up personal comfort for the sake of a higher and important cause.”23

THE POLITICS OF LIFE
We leftists can start with the left. We should talk much more about the Jabha Shabbiye li-Tahrir Falastin, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, because at this point of intense destruction, the PFLP is present and puts up resistance to the best of its ability. This is not a left in government – this is a left that fights from the position of the most extreme powerlessness and exposure to the most overwhelmingly powerful forces of destruction, and precisely for this reason it deserves special respect and appreciation. When in early November 2024, the occupation carried out a sweep of abductions in the West Bank and Lebanon, the mission specifically targeted the Front and arrested more than 60 of its militants – an index of the threat it is perceived to pose.
The Front has offered martyrs on every Palestinian frontline of Toufan al-Aqsa. Consider the following tiny sample of examples. Abed Tahani, a comrade of the Front, journalist, founder of the independent media network Taqadomy (‘Progressive’) was killed in Jabaliya alongside his brother Abdelfattah, fighter in the Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, ten days after October 7. As the Front wrote in a tribute to Abed Tahani: ‘Abed banged on the walls of the tank, as did Gaza’s resistance on October 7’. That phrase banging on the walls of the tank is a reference to Ghassan Kanafani’s Men in the Sun. I have argued previously in Salvage that this image paints the most striking picture of resistance in a world on fire.
Suleiman Abdul Karim al-Ahmed, a field commander of the Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades on the northern battlefield, was martyred a year after October 7 on the border with Palestine while resisting the invasion of Lebanon. Mohammed Abdel Aaal, head of security for the Front, a novelist, organiser, military operative, was assassinated in Beirut in autumn 2024. He was singled out for his role in building cells of the Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades in the West Bank – when I visited Beirut in April, his brother Marwan, leader of the PFLP in Beirut, could still receive me openly in party offices in mukhayam Mar Elias; he has since been forced underground but he sent out a communique mourning his martyred brother:
The heart gets lost in the chaos of war. Even the evening news for the whole family is about war – the destruction of homes, missile strikes, the levelling of neighbourhoods, the burning of refugee tents. We cannot remove war from our lives. We didn’t learn its arts; rather, it imposes itself on our daily lives and teaches us its lessons, so that we may survive erasure and extermination, and remain alive for the name that Palestine deserves.
Continuing the resistance against all this destruction is now an affirmation of the very possibility of life itself. Abdaljawad Omar, who has become a major interpreter of the resistance in this moment and who appears in this issue of Salvage, recently captured the point in an interview with Jewish Currents: ‘resistance is less about achieving a specific endpoint and more about affirming a presence, a refusal to be erased’.

PALESTINIAN FACTIONS: THE LAW TO EXECUTE PRISONERS IS A WAR CRIME THAT LEGALIZES MASS KILLINGS
Palestinian resistance factions on Tuesday condemned the Israeli Knesset’s preliminary approval of a draft law authorizing the execution of Palestinian prisoners, calling it a war crime that legalizes mass killings and exposes the inherently racist and criminal nature of the Israeli entity. The factions stated that the law grants the occupation a green light to expand its policies of slow death inside prisons through torture and medical neglect, effectively turning military courts into instruments of systematic execution. They warned that international silence in the face of such a measure amounts to direct complicity in the crime...
For its part, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) described the law’s passage as a fully fledged war crime and a fascist step that legitimizes the killing of Palestinian prisoners. The movement called on the international community to take immediate action to halt such policies.

PFLP CONDEMNS ZIONIST ASSASSINATION OF 3 PALESTINIANS IN JENIN
[Tue, 28 Oct 2025 15:54:07 +0300]
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) condemned the Israeli enemy forces' assassination of three Palestinians in the Kafr Kud area, northwest of Jenin in the occupied West Bank, following an airstrike.
In a press statement on Tuesday, the PFLP said, "This dangerous escalation confirms the continued Israeli government policy aimed at eliminating the Palestinian presence, destroying the foundations of life, and shedding the blood of our people in the West Bank."
It emphasized that this crime is part of a systematic plan that seeks to transfer the model of ongoing Israeli crimes in the Gaza Strip to the West Bank, with the aim of imposing a new reality consistent with annexation plans.
It noted that the use of snipers and aerial bombardment against civilian areas in the West Bank reflects a deliberate escalation and a premeditated intent to create a sustainable targeting environment.
It added, "As we mourn the three heroic martyrs of our people, we affirm that their pure blood will not be in vain, and that the crimes of the Zionist enemy will not pass without a response."
The Front stated that the resistance in the West Bank, despite all the targeting, persecution, and assassinations, will remain steadfast and steadfast, and that the enemy's crimes will not deter it from continuing its path of struggle and resistance.

ABU ALI MUSTAFA MOURNS MARTYRED MISSILE UNIT FIGHTER
Abu Ali Mustafa Brigades, the military wing of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), on Tuesday mourned its martyred comrade, fighter Darwish Ahmed Abu al-Qumsan (Abu Ahmed).
In a statement, the Brigades stated that Darwish, a "hero of the missile unit," was "martyred on the road to al-Quds and Palestine while carrying out a combat mission in conjunction with the Martyr Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades during the battles to defend and confront our people during the epic of October 7 in the northern Gaza Strip."
The statement highlighted Darwish's "sacrifice and redemption" as a "fierce defender" of the Palestinian people and Arab nation. It noted he was wounded three times during the October 7 "epic" but repeatedly returned to the battlefield.
The Brigades' statement affirmed that this loss will only increase their resolve to continue on the path of the martyrs, fighting for "comprehensive and complete liberation," expelling the occupation, restoring usurped rights, and avenging martyrs' blood.

TKP-ML INTERNATIONAL BUREAU: PFLP LEADER EBU AHMED FUAD IMMORTALIZED
It is with profound sadness that we mourn the loss of Comrade Davud Maraga (Ebu Ahmed Fuad), a revolutionary icon, former Deputy Secretary-General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), and a steadfast leader of the Palestinian struggle. Ebu Ahmed Fuad’s entire life was a testament to resistance, shaped by his unwavering dedication to justice, liberation, and the defeat of Zionist colonialism. He embodied the principles of resilience and self-sacrifice, leaving behind a rich legacy that will inspire generations of revolutionaries to come.
Born in 1942 in the Silvan neighborhood of occupied Jerusalem, Ebu Ahmed Fuad grew up in a family deeply rooted in the love of Palestine and defiance of occupation. His revolutionary ideals crystallized in his youth as he became part of the Arab Nationalist Movement, which laid the foundation for his lifelong fight against imperialism. As one of the founding members of the PFLP in 1967, alongside Comrade George Habash, he played a vital role in building the political and military capabilities of the Palestinian resistance.
Throughout his journey, Ebu Ahmed Fuad remained committed to the principles of unity and resistance, consistently advocating for armed struggle as a cornerstone of liberation. Even as he assumed political leadership roles within the PFLP, he stayed true to the ideals of revolutionary solidarity. In his later years, he became a leading figure in national dialogues, emphasizing the need for unity among Palestinians to confront occupation and imperialism.
Ebu Ahmed Fuad’s life was one of extraordinary courage and purpose. His legacy is not only a reminder of what has been achieved but a call to continue the struggle until Palestine is free. While his loss is deeply felt, his example will remain a beacon for all who fight for justice and liberation.
We express our sorrow and condolences to the leadership, members, fighters, family and comrades of the PFLP

PFLP MOURNS COMRADE SUHAIL SALIBI, LEADER IN ABNAA AL-BALAD MOVEMENT
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine mourned the great national fighter, Comrade Suhail Salibi (Abu al-Naji), a member of the Political Bureau of the Abnaa al-Balad Movement, on Wednesday. He passed away yesterday, Tuesday, at the age of sixty.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Front said, "The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, on behalf of its Secretary-General, Comrade Ahmad Saadat, his deputy, Comrade Jamil Mazhar, the members of the Political Bureau and the Central Committee, and all its cadres and comrades in the homeland and diaspora, extends its deepest condolences and most sincere sympathy to the comrades in the Abnaa al-Balad Movement, to the masses of our Palestinian people in the occupied territories, to the town of Majd al-Krum, and to the honorable Salibi family, on the passing of the great national fighter, Comrade Suhail Salibi (Abu al-Naji), a member of the Political Bureau of the Abnaa al-Balad Movement, who passed away yesterday, Tuesday, at the age of sixty, after a long struggle with illness."
She added, "Comrade Abu al-Naji, a native of Majd al-Krum, was a model of a sincere and dedicated national fighter dedicated to his cause and people. He carried the burden of Palestine from his early youth and joined the ranks of the national movement, defending its identity and belonging, believing in the unity of the people, land, and destiny."
She stated, "Comrade Suhail was known among his comrades for his steadfastness in his principles, his firm national stances, and his rejection of any form of compromise or deviation from the constants. He was always at the forefront of every national and popular movement, embodying the spirit of commitment and struggle, and believing that words, stances, and daily action are tools of resistance no less honorable than the rifle."
She emphasized, "Comrade Abu al-Naji never hesitated to fulfill his national duty. He was present at all solidarity events and activities, and he actively contributed to relief and popular support campaigns for our people in the Gaza Strip, embodying his deep belonging to all of Palestine, from its sea to its river."
The Front considered that "with his passing, the national arena and the occupied territories lose a steadfast fighter and a sincere leader who remained committed to revolutionary principles and values until the last moment of his life. Comrade Suhail set a model of loyalty, belonging, and national giving, and his name will remain engraved in the memory of the Palestinian national movement and in the conscience of all who knew him and accompanied him on the path of struggle."
The Front stated, "As we bid farewell to this dear comrade, we pledge to our people and our comrades in the Sons of the Country Movement that we will remain loyal to his approach and path, and that we will continue on the same path he followed: the path of resistance, unity, and steadfastness in adhering to the national constants until liberation, return, and the establishment of a Palestinian state on all Palestinian soil."
The Front concluded its statement by saying, "Sleep soundly, Abu al-Naji, for your comrades and your people will remain faithful until the dream of freedom, independence, and justice is realized for our Palestinian people."

PFLP MOURNS ITS FIELD COMMANDER ABDUL QADER QARMOUT "ABU GHASSAN"
With great pride and honor, the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine mourns its comrade, Field Commander Abdul Qader Hussein Abdul Qader Qarmout “Abu Ghassan” (42 years old), a son of Jabalia Camp, who was martyred in a treacherous zionist airstrike targeting him in the northern Gaza Strip.
Comrade Abu Ghassan hailed from the village of Deir Sunayd in the 1948 occupied lands. He joined the ranks of the Popular Front in 2000, advancing through various party ranks and taking on diverse organizational and combat responsibilities. He was a courageous and devoted fighter who dedicated his struggle to his homeland and his people.
Abu Ghassan exemplified a unique model of a field commander, combining boldness on the battlefield with deeply rooted humanity. He was not merely a fighter in confrontation zones but a comrade devoted to serving our people under the most difficult and harsh conditions. Known for his unwavering connection to the families of martyrs and the broader community, during the zionist aggression—and despite bombings and risks—he moved between destroyed homes to assist martyr families, console the wounded, and ensure the needs of affected families were met. He firmly believed his role extended beyond the battlefield to strengthening popular resilience.
Comrade Abu Ghassan refused to leave the engagement zones in the northern Strip, always taking the initiative to shoulder the most challenging tasks. He was quick to provide aid to our people and his comrades, remaining close to them and humble in his daily life.
As the Front mourns our commander, Abu Ghassan, we extend our deepest condolences to his honorable family and all his comrades. We pledge that his pure blood will not be shed in vain. The Front remains steadfast in the principles he believed in and fought for, striving to achieve our people’s aspirations for freedom, independence, and the establishment of the State of Palestine, from the river to the sea, with Al-Quds as its capital.
Glory and immortality to the soul of the martyr Commander Abu Ghassan… Victory to our resisting people… Defeat to the enemy and its collaborators.

ISRAEL KILLS PFLP LEADER 'ABU KHALIL' WISHAH, MUFID HUSSEIN, MOURNING EXHIBITS RESISTANCE UNITY
On Friday, August 8th, 2025, as news spread of two Palestinian fighters killed in an Israeli airstrike on Lebanese soil, an extraordinary display of solidarity emerged across ideologically disparate resistance movements.
The assassination of Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine’s (PFLP) senior leader and General Central Committee member Muhammad Khalil Wishah, aka “Abu Khalil” Wishah, alongside field commander Mufid Hassan Hussein, prompted condolence statements that revealed how sustained conflict has forged unprecedented unity between communist, Islamist and nationalist organisations across the region.
An Israeli airstrike killed the PFLP leader and Mr Hussein on the Masnaa Road in the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon on Thursday, the left-wing organisation announced. Mr Wishah became one of the high-profile resistance targets the Israelis have assassinated in recent months.
For the PFLP, Mr Wishah is also one of the top leaders to fall prey to Israeli attacks in the current phase of the conflict.
The unity of the resistance demonstrated that shared struggle against Israeli operations, now approaching two years in Gaza and one year in Lebanon, has created bonds that transcend traditional ideological boundaries....
The PFLP, in its August 8th statement, mourned the killing of Mr Wishah and Mr Hussein, hailing their roles in the resistance struggle against Israel.
“Abu Khalil” Wishah, born in Gaza in 1954, joined the PFLP in 1973 during its most active period of international operations. The organisation described him as someone who “stood tall in the face of all storms, never compromising on the fundamentals of the cause, nor retreating from his principles.”
The communist leader’s biography reflects the PFLP’s particular approach to resistance, not confined within the boundaries of Palestine but spread across the region.
“He participated in the battles to defend the revolution and the invasion of Lebanon in 1982. He participated in the Mountain War in Lebanon in 1983,” the PFLP said about Mr Wishah.
The PFLP portrayed Mr Wishah as embodying their vision of complete liberation, saying, “The martyr was the son of the true Palestine, which he had always imagined as complete and united, from its river to its sea, from Naqoura to Rafah.”
Field commander Mufid Hassan Hussein, born in 1973 in the Yarmouk Camp, represented a younger generation shaped by decades of displacement.
The PFLP noted that “he firmly believed that the homeland deserves to be sacrificed for it with all that is precious and dear.” His trajectory from refugee camp to senior commander illustrated how the organisation continues recruiting from Palestinian diaspora communities.
While highlighting the supreme sacrifices made by Mr Wishah and Mr Hussein, the PFLP pledged to continue the struggle, saying, “We pledge, by their pure blood, that we will remain faithful to their pledge, continuing in their footsteps until the return, victory, and complete liberation of Palestine from its river to its sea are achieved.”
As the PFLP mourned Mr Wishah and Mr Hussein, it found the entire resistance family, in Palestine and Lebanon, joining it...
The Palestinian People’s Party in Lebanon, representing the leftist secular tradition, condemned what they termed “this heinous Zionist crime”.
“We affirm that targeting leaders and fighters will only strengthen our people’s resolve to adhere to the option of struggle and resistance, and to maintain national unity in defence of their dignity and their legitimate rights to freedom, return, and independence,” the organisation stated.
“What we learned about the two martyred comrades, their lives and stances, embody the image of sincere fighters committed to the causes of their people. We, the Palestinian People’s Party, offer our deepest condolences to you, to the families of the two martyrs, and to all our comrades in the Popular Front. We pledge to remain loyal to the blood of the martyrs and to adhere to the principles for which they were martyred, until our people achieve their goals of freedom, independence, and return,” it further added.
Similarly, the Central Follow-up Committee of Palestinian Popular Committees in Lebanon described the victims as “ever-shining torches on the path of freedom and liberation” while pledging to “continue on this path until we achieve our people’s goals of building an independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.”
The PFLP-General Command, despite organisational separation from the mainstream PFLP years ago, offered condolences that emphasised shared revolutionary commitment: “History bears witness that our people have presented inspiring models of the meaning of sacrifice and martyrdom, especially as they face the most heinous and brutal massacre known to history.”
“We pledge to continue the revolution, and together we will achieve victory on the path to liberating the land and the people,” the PFLP-GC added...

PFLP: TORTURE, MUTILATION OF MARTYRS' BODIES ARE WAR CRIMES REQUIRING IMMEDIATE ARREST OF ISRAELI OFFICIALS
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) condemned the brutal torture and mutilation of Palestinian martyrs’ bodies by Israeli occupation forces, describing such acts as “complete war crimes and crimes against humanity” that demand the immediate arrest and prosecution of Israeli officials involved in those crimes.
In a statement issued on Friday, the PFLP said that the deliberate disfigurement of bodies and the erasure of identities reflect “a Nazi-like, fascist mindset aimed at concealing evidence and evading accountability.”
The group stressed that these acts demonstrate Israel’s moral collapse and its attempt to dehumanize Palestinians even after death.
While Palestinian resistance movements continue to show “the highest levels of ethics and humanity” in handling captives and remains, the PFLP said, the “fascist occupation persists in its savage violations, from torture to mutilation and erasure of identities.”
The statement called for immediate, independent, and international documentation of all cases of mutilation and abuse of bodies, and for the publication of credible findings to expose the crimes to the world. It urged the full return of all bodies and data on the missing to their families “with respect for their dignity and rights.”
The PFLP also highlighted the ongoing suffering of Palestinian prisoners, particularly those from Gaza, who face “systematic torture, deliberate medical neglect, and severe abuse” in Israeli prisons, calling it a “continuing war crime” that requires urgent international intervention to ensure the prisoners’ protection and rights.
The group demanded the establishment of effective international judicial mechanisms that go beyond traditional investigation committees, to issue immediate arrest warrants for Israeli officials implicated in these crimes.
“The evidence is overwhelming, witnessed by the entire world,” the PFLP said, warning that “these crimes will not go unpunished and will not expire with time.” The group pledged to pursue all those responsible “until justice is served.”

PFLP HOLDS ISRAEL FULLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE LIFE OF PRISONER LEADER AHMAD SAADAT
'The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) held the “Zionist occupation, its fascist prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and his security minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, fully responsibility for the life of the PFLP’s secretary-general, Ahmed Saadat, who is facing extremely critical health condition in solitary confinement in Megiddo prison, especially after he was subjected to brutal assault and abuse during his recent transfer.”
............
The PFLP has also highlighted the continued targeting of its leaders, including Politburo member, Ahed Abu Ghoulmeh, who was recently transferred to Gilboa prison under harsh conditions. Other prominent prisoners from Hamas, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), and the PFLP, such as Hassan Salameh, Abdullah Barghouthi, and Ibrahim Hamed, are also subjected to unprecedented campaigns of abuse and torture.
The group also called on Palestinians, active forces at home and in the diaspora, all free people around the world, and international human rights and humanitarian organizations to act urgently and effectively and participate in the widest possible solidarity campaign with the prisoners, in order to pressure Israel to halt these grave crimes, save the lives of the detainees, and expose these practices to global public opinion.
